Privacy, outdoor entertaining and creative parking accommodations were a priority for a family when we meet with them to fashion a plan that would satisfy those goals and take advantage of their scenic views on a multi-tiered lot.

Gaining stress-free access to the winding, country road was achieved by carving out a new, pea gravel crescent driveway/parking area incorporating classic, re-claimed Belgium blocks to edge the area and add definition. A steppingstone path, flanked with perennials and seasonal flowers, beckons guests to the front door while a family of Pear trees add a touch of stately beauty to the driveway’s otherwise rustic flair. A variety of boulders were integrated throughout the property to accommodate the change in elevations while grasses and wildflowers were supplemented amongst them to increase additional interests and enhance the natural beauty of the landscape. Perennial gardens and additional boulders outline the pool and patio areas allowing guests and children to carefreely meander along the many outdoor terraces to relax and play in the home’s delightfully charming and functional backyard.

A uniquely landscaped pea gravel driveway, gorgeous boulder retaining walls and alluring steppingstone paths all bring exquisiteness and function to this homeowner’s domicile.
